On Wednesday, January 29, Coinbase Custody International officially announced the launch of an office in Dublin that will provide custody services for digital assets.

Coinbase Custody International was launched in 2018. The company’s goal is to provide services for the custody of digital assets. For two years, the company has been developing in this direction and served customers from countries such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany. Institutional custody services, combined with the local experience and market knowledge that the company has accumulated within two years, will help it comply with local rules and regulations to meet investor requirements.

The Coinbase Custody official statement says:

“Over the coming months, we plan to support more assets and launch new features that will continue to demonstrate that Coinbase Custody is the most trusted and innovative place for institutions to store their crypto assets.”

It is worth noting that Coinbase is not the only company that is engaged in the expansion of custody services. French startup Ledger has recently announced a partnership with FLETA, a South Korean blockchain platform, to provide custody services throughout Asia.
