Australian-based crypto exchange GroveX is the latest platform set to integrate with Shiba Inu’s layer-2 network.

Shibarium, the recently launched layer-2 solution for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, has gained significant traction in the past two months since its release. From new projects launching on the network to user activity hitting new all-time highs, more exchanges are now keen to integrate with Shibarium.

Australian-based crypto exchange GroveX is the latest crypto trading platform to signal its interest in integrating with the Shibarium network.

According to a weekend update from the exchange, GroveX is already in the process of supporting the new layer-2 network. However, the team is keen to get in direct contact with the Shibarium team to obtain “clarification on certain aspects of the chain.”

We are in the process of integrating the #Shibarium chain into #GroveX.

We are keen to establish a connection with a member of the Shiba team to facilitate a seamless integration and seek clarification on some aspects of the chain.

Within hours after the post, Vet Kusama, a Shiba Inu team member, responded to the post, indicating a willingness to collaborate with GroveX. The SHIB community also rallied around GroveX’s update and remains hopeful that the exchange can reach its stated goal with the help of the development team.

Evidently, a successful integration will, among other things, open the way for GroveX to support the trading of SHIB ecosystem assets. Additionally, it could pave the way for the exchange to list tokens created on the Shibarium chain, thus attracting more investments into the fast-growing blockchain ecosystem.

Exchange Listings to Boost Shibarium

GroveX is not the first exchange in recent times to signal an interest in integrating with the Shibarium network in this early phase of its growth.

Earlier this month, Turkey-based Bitcointry became the first exchange in the country and one of the first in the crypto space to enable deposits and withdrawals through the Shibarium chain.

As The Crypto Basic reported, Bitcointry swiftly followed up on the integration by adding support for two Shibarium-native assets, Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) and Marswap (MSWAPF). Such listings boost awareness for the tokens and increase Shibarium’s popularity within the crypto community.
